So the beginning of this year starts out with my job becoming void, due to the inability of the rest of my crew to do their job, and it has cost the company more money than is worth keeping everyone. This means I will be losing my main source of income as a screen print artist, not because of lack of quality/efficiency on my part, but bad management and inept screen printers. So, Somewhere near the end of the month, I will be jobless-*AHEM* FREELANCE. Beautiful start to my year.

There is a silver lining, though.  Because I am going to have to rebuild myself again from the ground up, I am moving into a home that supports highly the notion that I should be able to do all the things I am gifted at, without hinderance, and therefore has possibly put me in a place to open my airbrushes again, paints, etc.. as well as my normal digital works. This is a good thing. I am also, since I have no real job to speak of, possibly going to be able to go North, to D.C., visit an old friend, and spend a week there, working on things and networking. This might become a habit, and I may rub elbows with people who will make my Freelancing easier to maintain. I will continue to fight, even when I say I won't, because I just don't want to lay down my blades just yet. Spite can be strong if used wisely.

The luckiest thing any of you can admit, is that where others must have an opening for a trade to work, YOU as an artist, can go out and MAKE your own work. Make your own job, and CREATE your own income, just by doing what you do right now. Not everyone has that option. Use it.
